About Us

Hard To Guard Basketball Clinic is a New York-based 501(c)3 non-profit providing high-quality basketball training to children, especially those from at-risk communities in NYC. We are an organization committed to empowering the young generation through basketball. Hard To Guard Basketball Clinic was established in 2014 by Clinton

Hardware, a professional basketball trainer who prides himself on working with elite athletes.

Over the years, he has prepared hundreds of young basketball lovers to unleash their talent. Our organization leverages his skills and experiences in the game of basketball to develop programs and find opportunities that foster youth development.

At Hard To Guard Basketball Clinic, we understand the importance of sports in cultivating the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development of children. Basketball

provides an avenue for children to learn life skills and we are on a mission to help underprivileged children to realize these benefits.

We provide a one-on-one basketball training program that leverages innovative methods and approaches. We strive to nurture children to achieve holistic development and lead purposeful lives. We help them excel in sports by learning from the best coaches and players. We also support and guide them to build unmatched confidence, resilience, and relationships on and off the court.

Our focus is to bring children off the streets, make great relationships, and reduce cases of child neglect in our communities. We seek to achieve this goal by meeting the

children, parents, community leaders, business leaders, and other philanthropic individuals.
